It was a pleasant surprise receiving a call from an old friend! I’ve known Nicole since we were little girls. The only memory I have of Nicole is her always coming over to my house to play with my little sister, Daisy and me. We lost touch as many childhood friends do and reconnected on her wedding day! When Nicole heard I was a photographer she contacted me right away and we basically picked up where we left off. This wedding is near and dear to my heart. I was truly meant to be her wedding photographer. I could not be any happier to be part of her special day!

I was so glad Nick and Nicole agreed on formal family, bridal party and bride/groom portraits before the ceremony. They wanted them done at the beautiful Chicago Botanical Gardens. This was a first for me. I really enjoyed shooting there! You will see why in a sec. Keep scrolling!
