If you’re a high school senior (or a parent planning ahead!), Lilacia Park in Lombard, Illinois is one of the most beautiful spring photo locations in the Chicago suburbs. With thousands of blooming tulips and over 700 lilac bushes, it’s a backdrop you have to see to believe — and I’d love to photograph you there.
It was such an honor capturing this moment for this beautiful senior and her family. Here’s to the next chapter!

Why Senior Photos Matter More Than You Think
As a parent, you know how fast time flies. Elementary school, high school, and now graduation — it all happened so fast. Where did the time go! This is a big deal and a huge accomplishment, and it deserves to be celebrated.

When to Book.
The best time to book depends on the look you want. Spring (May) gives you those gorgeous lilacs and tulips at Lilacia Park. Summer (June – August) or Fall (October – November).
I also recommend weekdays over weekends when possible — you’ll get a more peaceful, relaxed experience with fewer crowds. But I’m flexible, and some locations work great on weekends too. We’ll figure out logistics together.

What to Expect During Your Session
My senior sessions are fun, relaxed and completely customized to you.
Here’s what happens:
Every session starts with a consultation so I can learn your style and vision. I’ll also share a Senior Photo Guide ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect.
During your session, I’ll guide you through every pose — you just show up, have fun, and be yourself.

What to Wear
I recommend three looks: graduation cap and gown, one formal, one casual. Soft, neutral colors work best for everyone. Ladies, accessorize and express yourself. Guys — dress it up with a suit or blazer, and keep your casual look clean and simple. Don’t forget a blanket, your diploma, and something to touch up with between outfits.

Frequently Asked Questions About Senior Sessions
Q: How do I book my senior session? Head to my contact page and send me a message. Tell me about yourself, when you’d like to shoot, and your ideas. We’ll schedule a consultation — via video or phone — to get to know each other and go over package options. From there, we’ll finalize everything and start planning your session.
Q: What if it rains? We reschedule! Your portraits are too important to rush through bad weather.
Q: How many outfits should I bring? Three: cap and gown, one formal, one casual.
Q: Do I need to know how to pose? Not at all! I guide you through every pose — we’ll alternate between sitting, standing, and a variety of poses. Most of my seniors have a blast.
Q: Can my parents or friends come? Absolutely! Parents and friends help with hair touch-ups, assist with outfit changes, and capture candid moments. You’re welcome to bring whoever makes you feel most comfortable.
