I want to introduce you to my cousin (the comedian) Gerardo and his beautiful wife Jessica! You’ll see why I call him a “comedian” later on. This is my sweet nephew Everette! He was born, 3 wks ago! Isn’t he a cutie!?  I absolutely love his name! Everette, sounds so earthy and unique. I like earthy + unique. Good job you guys and congrats!

This session truly turned out beautiful and is a good example of my style.  I would like to walk you through a “Special Lifestyle Home Session Experience”.  

Before the session even starts I give my clients some helpful tips on how to choose the perfect room.  

Here’s a step by step guide to help you prepare for your session with me:

One: Choose a room with windows. Beautiful natural light is our best friend. The majority of the session was in the nursery.  We changed things up a bit and then moved to the master bedroom.

Two: Declutter.  Very important. I help with staging and don’t mind cleaning but I ask that you please try and clean up the majority of the clutter before I arrive.

Three: Accessories!!! Baby hats, receiving blankets, stuffed animals, signs/announcements.  Have those ready. I provide the baskets, floor backdrop, and fur.

Four: Patience.  Baby’s need to nurse, burp and sleep on their terms.  Allow plenty of time. I typically spend 2 hrs for session like this one.

Five: I love to include the entire family and do groupings such as Fam, Mom + Baby, Dad + Baby, siblings + Baby,  and just Baby.

Six: When choosing what to wear, try choosing casual outfits with natural tones. Accessorize to give it a POP of fun, if that’s your thang!

Seven: Have fun and be yourself! I want to capture the moment and tell your special story.  No one’s judging you, play it cool and it will all work out!
