Janice and Matt will be tying the knot in beautiful Rivera Maya, Mexico in 2020. When I heard it was a destination wedding I was ecstatic! Who doesn’t get excited to take a trip to Mexico! Turns out she only needed engagement pictures for their announcements and wedding website since the resort already provides a wedding photographer. I was bummed because it would have been my first destination wedding. I got over it quickly and was grateful I was chosen to capture their engagement photos. I started brainstorming locations and suggested the Illinois Beach Resort in Zion, IL. I also recommended a sunrise session again a first for me. We arrived at 4:45 am to capture the beautiful golden red colors in the sky. I loved every minute of it!
