Gabe and I recently had the privilege of documenting an incredibly special event – Lauren’s 18th birthday debut at The Lehmann Mansion.

The DeGuzman family put together a beautiful celebration that was truly unforgettable. In Filipino culture, an 18th birthday is celebrated in a significant and unique way. The traditional dance called Tinikling was particularly enjoyable as it involved dancing with bamboo sticks. Looked like a lot of fun! Lauren’s 18 aunts each lit a candle and shared their fondest memories and well-wishes. Her uncles also danced and presented her with a rose.

It was touching to see all the love expressed by everyone. I am grateful to the DeGuzman family for entrusting us to capture their daughter’s special day. It was an honor to be a part of such a meaningful event and to witness the love and joy shared by all.
