First, how’s everyone doing? I hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy.

I really miss you guys. 🙁

Today would have been my first wedding of the year.  Like all of my projects, I always look forward to documenting special occasions.  It would have been my first wedding in Wisconsin. I was was looking forward to the drive there, spending it with the bride/groom and meeting their family.

I feel so bad for what’s currently happening to all of us. It’s ruined so many beautiful plans and lives.

I have faith that once this is all over, we will come out stronger and wiser.

With changes comes difficult challenges, fear and uncertainty.  The pandemic has taken away my freedom, sense of safety and messed with my finances. This is my only way of income.

I always try to look on the bright side. As long as we are healthy, have everything we need to survive, I’m more than blessed.

It’s not all bad.

This virus has recently opened new doors of opportunities for me and my husband, Gabe.

You’re looking at a home I photographed, in beautiful Chicago a couple of weeks ago.   This time though it felt different.  I’ve never had to protect myself from an awful, nasty virus before work.

On the drive there I was fine as you can see. It wasn’t until I arrived that I started to feel sick to my stomach.  Having masks and gloves on made it feel that much more scary and real.
